The goal of this program is to have a student written and produced “news” show. Hopefully, once per week, but more likely every other week. We need a diversified group of students to act as writers, reporters, graphic designers, editors and producers. Students will create segments, such as weekly jokes, surprise guest, a debate and current news and weather. Meetings may be divided into breakout rooms after initial discussion. Each child must submit a photo permission slip from a parent and have a reliable internet connection.

Grades 4 and 5

Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:45-5:30

Fee $100+ $20 CPA Fee

Waiver and Release *By completing the online registration for the PS16 CPA After School Program –

I agree to place my Child in care of the program volunteers and staff, subject to all its rules and requirements.

I understand that the PS16 CPA carries liability insurance but not medical insurance.

I give permission to have my Child’s image/photo taken and used in PS16 CPA After School Program future publications, websites, and promotional materials.

No refunds. All payments made are non–refundable. Refunds are not given if a child misses a class.

Class makeups are only scheduled if the teacher has to cancel a class, school is canceled for inclement weather, etc.

Each class has a minimum enrollment requirement. If this is not met, that class will be canceled and refunds will be given.
